The story of Claire Cellars begins in Jerry Miller’s grandfather’s orchards. Jerry was tasked at an early age with assisting his grandfather, father, and brothers with harvesting the berries and prunes they grew on their family’s 30-acre orchard in Napa Valley. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in viticulture from UC Davis, he returned to the land he loved to take over management of his family’s farm, eventually replacing most of the fruit trees with vines.
Named after Jerry’s wife and forever love, Claire Cellars strives to be forward-thinking in all aspects of the wine business, using organic dry-farming practices in the vineyard and only sourcing grapes from trusted, high-quality partners. Joined by his daughter, Courtney, the Miller family's dedication to craftsmanship produces well-balanced, ready-to-enjoy wines.
